The Governing Body at Moorgate Primary School is a hard working group of people from all walks of life. They work together to lead and assist our head teacher in the strategic direction of the school. The Headteacher, in consultation with the governing body, is responsible for the internal organisation, management and discipline of the school. The Governors have legal and moral responsibility for the school with a range of responsibilities which include discipline, staff appointments, buildings, finance and overview of the curriculum.
The Governors meet regularly once a term and also work in smaller groups throughout the year looking at all aspects of school and ensures its effective and efficient function.
The Governors aim to have a representative at all school functions throughout the year.
The Governors take their roles at Moorgate Community Primary School very seriously and look forward to meeting you all in the near future.
