Christmas at Moorgate

Written by School Admin on December 21, 2019

We have been very busy in school over the past few weeks in the run up to Christmas. We have had our annual enterprise sale which our Reception Class were proud winners of. We have had some amazing Christmas performances from our children in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 plus our vocal band have done some fantastic singing at St Chad’s Church, Tonge Children’s Centre and B&Q.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents and carers for their continued support of all our events at Moorgate, especially at Christmas time. We understand that we ask a lot from parents with requests for various donations, non uniform days, Christmas jumpers days, etc.. etc..

Without your support we would not be able to hold these events which prove to be very enjoyable for our pupils.

Please see below some pictures from this months Christmas events and activities:-

Our Reception class enjoyed their visit to watch Aladdin at the Bolton Albert Halls this week. All the children were really well behaved and were a credit to their parents/carers.

Year 1 had a special visitor who left them a naughty elf and a letter from Santa.
