Special Visitors

We have had some special visitors in school recently.

As part of Year 1’s topic ‘When I grow up’ they had a special visit from a police officer. PC Hill talked to the children about his role as a police officer and how he helps people. The children really enjoyed the visit and loved dressing up as police officers.

Earlier this month we had a visit from Bolton’s new MP, Mr Mark Logan.

Mrs Hopwood and Mrs Mansfield took Mr Logan on a tour of Moorgate and introduced him to staff and pupils. He observed continuous provision in our Early Years classes, topic based work in Key Stage 1 and Enrichment activities across Key Stage 2.

We hope he enjoyed his visit and would like to involve him in events at Moorgate in the near future.
